Waking up your wardrobe for spring!

Well, spring is on its way and most of us have something sculling around in the wardrobe that needs a little magic fairy dust, you may have been really good and lost some weight, or you may just want to update that beautiful jacket you simply can’t bear to part with; let me do the magic dust thing for you and bring the tired back to life and up to date.

If you are going to a special event, like a wedding or someone’s big birthday and you don’t want to waste what you already have, we could change it, give it a face lift and hey presto, you look a million dollars again.

Oriental Waistcoat – this beautiful long waistcoat was made using an antique wedding kimono that my client had wanted to wear for years but it proved impractical before re-modelling.

Coffee Tunic Jumper – My client had wanted to brighten up her favourite tunic jumper we have used a variety of embroidery threads and stitches, embroidered butterflies and assorted buttons.

Re-Loved Jacket – this jacket has been made using a mauve dress and a turquoise skirt that my client wanted made into one of my Midi Highway jacket, all the decorative details were made using the dress and the main body of the jacket from the skirt.

Wedding Dress – this was originally an sleeveless full length fishtail dress bought in a sale, my client wanted it changed to suit her figure so the middle (fitted) section was cut out and the full skirt joined to the top, the leftover fabric was used to create 1950s style straps and covered buttons and rulo loops made to replace the zip.
