I have loved making this outfit for a good friend; she is
tall and elegant and likes to wear soft clothes that are comfortable and easy
to wear. She has a strong ethical
approach to her clothes and was delighted for me to use some naturally dyed
Kantha Silk that was made in a fair trade Bangladeshi workshop for the
waistcoat and scarf; and naturally dyed Silk Jersey for the tunic top. The pants are made with stretch printed denim
and all the piping and the waistcoat and scarf linings are cherry red crepe backed
satin. She looked truly amazing in the
finished outfit, kind of supermodelish!
Client project, size 8, £480.
